FISCAL YEAR 2023-25 ZONE 5 AND ZONE 3 STREET IMPROVEMENT\nPROJECT AWARD OF CONTRACT\nRECOMMENDATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\nA.\nAward the Fiscal Year 2023-24 (Zone 5) and Fiscal Year 2024-2025\n(Zone 3) Street Improvement Project construction contract to Hardy &\nHarper, Inc. in the amount of $1,575,000.\nB.\nAuthorize a budget amendment increase in the amount $343,400 to\naccount 101-450PWD-6830 for construction; AND\nC.\nAuthorize a contingency for this project in the amount of 15% or\n$236,250; AND\nD.\nAuthorize a budget amendment increase in the amount of $51,509 to\naccount 101-450PWD-6830 for contingency; AND\nE.\nAuthorize the City Manager to execute the contracts in a form approved\nby the City Attorney.\n2025 10 13 ITEM #20

PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN – AWARD OF CONTRACT TO BUCKNAM\nINFRASTRUCTURE GROUP, INC.\nRECOMMENDATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\nA.\nAward the Professional Services Agreement to Bucknam Infrastructure\nGroup, Inc. in the amount of $24,938; AND\nB.\nAuthorize the City Manager to execute the contract in a form approved\nby the City Attorney; AND\nC.\nAuthorize a budget amendment in the $24,938 to account 101-450PWD6650\n2025 10 13 ITEM #21

REQUEST TO WAIVE ENCROACHMENT PERMIT FEES FOR ANNUAL\nNEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY ON CANONITA DRIVE\nRECOMMENDATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council\nwaive the encroachment permit and\nissuance fees, and authorize staff to\nissue a no-fee encroachment permit to\nclose Canonita Drive on Saturday,\nNovember 8, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 7\np.m. for a neighborhood block party.\n2025 10 13 ITEM #25
