FISCAL YEAR 2023-25 ZONE 5 AND ZONE 3 STREET IMPROVEMENT\nPROJECT AWARD OF CONTRACT\nRECOMMENDATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\nA.\nAward the Fiscal Year 2023-24 (Zone 5) and Fiscal Year 2024-2025\n(Zone 3) Street Improvement Project construction contract to Hardy &\nHarper, Inc. in the amount of $1,575,000.\nB.\nAuthorize a budget amendment increase in the amount $343,400 to\naccount 101-450PWD-6830 for construction; AND\nC.\nAuthorize a contingency for this project in the amount of 15% or\n$236,250; AND\nD.\nAuthorize a budget amendment increase in the amount of $51,509 to\naccount 101-450PWD-6830 for contingency; AND\nE.\nAuthorize the City Manager to execute the contracts in a form approved\nby the City Attorney.\n2025 10 13 ITEM #20
