7.5 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2018-07, SANTA GERTRUDES AVENUE\nCORRIDOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL UPGRADES – REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF\nCONTRACT - It is recommended the City Council award the contract for Capital\nImprovement Project No. 2018-07, Santa Gertrudes Avenue Corridor Traffic Signal\nUpgrades, to Select Electric, Inc., in the amount of $565,465.00; authorize the City\nManager to execute the contract on behalf of the City; authorize the City Manager to\napprove addendums to the on-call engineering contracts for construction survey, inspection\nand testing services in an amount not to exceed 20 percent of the construction cost; and\nauthorize the City Manager to approve additional work up to 20 percent of the total\nconstruction cost.\n7.5 CIP No. 2018-07

7.7 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2018-03, IMPERIAL HIGHWAY PAVEMENT\nREHABILITATION FROM VALLEY VIEW AVENUE TO WICKER DRIVE - REVIEW OF\nBIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT - It is recommended the City Council award the\ncontract for Capital Improvement Project No. 2018-03, Imperial Highway Pavement\nRehabilitation Eastbound from Valley View Avenue to Wicker Drive, to All American Asphalt\nin the amount of $945,000; authorize the City Manager to execute the contract on behalf of\nthe City; authorize the City Manager to approve addendums to the on-call engineering\nagreements for construction support services in an amount not to exceed ten percent of the\nconstruction cost; and authorize the City Manager to approve additional work up to 20\npercent of the total construction contract cost.\n7.7 CIP No. 2018-03

7.8 APPROVAL OF THE NORWALK-LA MIRADA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT’S "LA\nMIRADA ALL CITY SCHOOLS CONCERT" AT LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE\nPERFORMING ARTS - It is recommended the City Council approve the Norwalk-La Mirada\nUnified School District’s "La Mirada All City Schools Concert" at La Mirada Theatre for the\nPerforming Arts and waive the associated fees.\n7.8 Approval of Use of Theatre

7.9 APPROVAL OF THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT “MUG RUN” –\nIt is recommended the City Council approve the Sheriff’s Department “Mug Run” subject to\nconditions recommended by staff.\n7.9 LASD Mug Run

8.1 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG) PROPOSED FISCAL\nYEAR 2023-24 PROJECTS - It is recommended the City Council conduct a Public Hearing\nas prescribed by law; approve the proposed Fiscal Year 2023-24 Community Development\nBlock Grant projects as presented; and authorize the City Manager to execute the contracts\nand any amendments with the Los Angeles County Development Authority on behalf of the\nCity.\n8.1 FY 2023-24 CDBG Projects

8.2 RESOLUTION NO. 23-01 APPROVING CERTIFICATE OF COMPATIBILITY NO. 66 TO\nCONSTRUCT A NEW 143,617 SQUARE FOOT INDUSTRIAL WAREHOUSE BUILDING\nON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 16930 VALLEY VIEW AVENUE (APN 7003-011-026),\nWITHIN THE INDUSTRIAL (M-2) ZONING DISTRICT - It is recommended the City Council\nconduct a public hearing as required by law; affirm the CEQA Exemption; and adopt\nResolution No. 23-01 approving Certificate of Compatibility No. 66 to construct a new\n143,617 square foot industrial warehouse building at 16930 Valley View Avenue within the\nIndustrial (M-2) Zoning District.\n8.2 PH: Reso. 8.3 ORDINANCE NO. 728 ADOPTING ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 55, ADDING\nLAND USE REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO MICRO-BREWERY FACILITIES, TO TITLE\n21 OF THE LA MIRADA MUNICIPAL CODE (ZONING ORDINANCE), AND TO TABLE 6.1\nOF THE IMPERIAL HIGHWAY SPECIFIC PLAN; AND APPROVING AN EXEMPTION\nFROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) PURSUANT TO\nSECTION 15061(b)(3) OF THE CEQA GUIDELINES - It is recommended the City Council\nconduct a public hearing as required by law and consider all public testimony regarding the\nproposed Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 55; affirm the CEQA Exemption; and\nintroduce for first reading Ordinance No. 728 adopting Zoning Ordinance Amendment No.\n55, adding land use regulations applicable to micro-brewery facilities, to Title 21 of the La\nMirada Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance), and to Table 6.1 of the Imperial Highway\nSpecific Plan; and approving an exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA guidelines, by title only, and waive\nfurther reading.\n8.3 PH: Ord.
