La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center for the La Mirada High School\nFootball Booster Club recreational event and waive all fees associated with the requested\nuse.\n7.3 Approval of Use of Facility

7.4 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2022-03, CITY HALL FOUNTAIN RENOVATION\n– FINDING THAT PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT\nOF 1970, THE PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 15301\nCLASS 1 (C) AND APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS - It is recommended the\nCity Council find that pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, the\nproject is categorically exempt under Section 15301 Class 1 (c) and will have no significant\neffect on the environment; approve the plans and specifications for Capital Improvement\nProject No. 2022-03, City Hall Fountain Renovation; and authorize the City Clerk to\nadvertise for sealed bids.\n7.4 CIP No. 2022-03

7.6 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2023-04, BEHRINGER PARK\nIMPROVEMENTS PRELIMINARY RENOVATION PLAN AND FINAL DESIGN –\nAPPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES\nAGREEMENT WITH DAVID VOLZ DESIGN - It is recommended the City Council approve\nand authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the On-Call Professional\nServices Agreement between the City of La Mirada and David Volz Design to provide\nprofessional design services for CIP No. 2023-04, Behringer Park Improvements\nPreliminary Renovation Plan and Final Design, based on the David Volz Design proposal\ndated May 5, 2023, in the amount of $408,499 and authorize the City Manager to approve\nadditional professional services to David Volz Design, if required, for up to 20 percent of the\nauthorized contract amount.\n7.6 CIP No. 2023-04

7.7 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2023-05, LEFFINGWELL ROAD LANDSCAPE\nAND MEDIAN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT FROM TELEGRAPH ROAD TO STAMY\nROAD – APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE ON-CALL PROFESSIONAL\nSERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WILLDAN ENGINEERING - It is recommended the City\nCouncil approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the On-Call\nProfessional Services Agreement between the City of La Mirada and Willdan Engineering\nto provide professional design services for CIP No. 2023-05, Leffingwell Road Landscape\nand Median Improvements Project from Telegraph Road to Stamy Road, based on the\nWilldan Engineering proposal dated May 5, 2023 in the amount of $216,956 and authorize\nthe City Manager to approve additional professional services to Willdan Engineering if\nrequired, for up to 20 percent of the authorized contract amount.\n7.7 CIP No. 2023-05

7.8 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2018-02, ALONDRA BOULEVARD PAVEMENT\nREHABILITATION FROM VALLEY VIEW AVENUE TO MOTTLEY DRIVE - ACCEPTANCE\nOF WORK AND APPROVAL OF CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER - It is recommended the\nCity Council accept the improvements constructed by R.J. Noble Company; authorize the\nCity Manager to execute the Balancing Contract Change Order in the amount of\n$100,707.67; authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County\nRecorder; and authorize the payment of retention monies pursuant to the agreement.\n7.8 CIP No. 2018-02
