8.4 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2023-02, NEIGHBORHOOD SLURRY SEAL\nAREA 4 – REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT - It is recommended the City\nCouncil award the contract for Capital Improvement Project No. 2023-02, Neighborhood\nSlurry Seal Area 4, to Roy Allan Slurry Seal, Inc. in the amount of $1,081,959; authorize the\nCity Manager to execute the contract on behalf of the City; authorize the City Manager to\napprove addendums to the existing on-call engineering contracts for construction\ninspection and testing services in an amount not to exceed 20 percent of the construction\ncost; and authorize the City Manager to approve additional work up to 20 percent of the\ntotal project cost including construction, and construction testing and inspection.\n8.4 CIP No. 2023-02
