FOR LAND ACQUISITION PROFESSIONAL SERVICES - It\nis recommended the City Council approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an\namendment to the On-Call Professional Services Agreement between the City and\nInterwest Consulting Group, Inc. to provide land acquisition professional services for CIP\nNo. 2016-12, Traffic Signal Installation at Alondra Boulevard and Phoebe Avenue, based on\nthe Interwest Design Group, Inc. proposal dated November 2, 2023, in the amount of\n$45,800; and authorize the City Manager to approve additional professional services to\nInterwest Design Group, Inc., if required, for up to 20 percent of the authorized contract\namount.\n8.7 CIP No. 2016-12

8.8 APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH WENGER CORPORATION FOR THE REPAIR\nOF SMOKE HATCHES AT THE LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS -\nIt is recommended the City Council approve an agreement with Wenger Corporation for the\nrepair of the smoke hatches at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in the amount\nof $47,333.41 and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement on behalf of the\nCity.\n8.8 Approval of an Agreement with Wenger Corp.

9.1 GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 2023-1 – HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE 2021-2029:\nA REQUEST TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN TO UPDATE THE HOUSING ELEMENT\nTO REFLECT THE 6TH HOUSING CYCLE FROM 2021-2029 AS REQUIRED PURSUANT\nTO STATE LAW - It is recommended the City Council conduct a public hearing as required\nby law; adopt a Negative Declaration as the appropriate environmental document; and\nadopt Resolution No. 23-35 approving General Plan Amendment No. 2023-1 to adopt the\nCity of La Mirada 2021-2029 Housing Element, which represents an update to the 2014-\n2021 Housing Element of the City of La Mirada General Plan, including any additional non-\nsubstantive changes made by the City Manager and City Attorney to respond to comments\nreceived from the Department of Housing and Community Development on the adopted\nHousing Element.\n9.1 Report for Public Hearing\n9.1 Attachments for Public Hearing
