Award of Contract for Pickleball Courts at La Palma’s Central Park\nRecommendation that the City Council provide direction to staff regarding one of the\nfollowing options:\na) Approve an Award of Contract of a selected option to the low bidder, RG General\nEngineering, Inc. for the Central Park Pickleball Improvements (Option 1 or 2),\nCity Project No. 23-PRK-02;\nb) Decline to award a contract for Pickleball Improvements at this time;\nc) Direct staff to work with RG General Engineering on any modifications that the\nCouncil so desires;\nd) Direct staff to re-bid the project in the future in the hopes of realizing a cost\nsavings; or\ne) Appropriate project funding from the Capital Outlay Reserve Funds to complete\nproject funding including a 10% contingency for the selected option (should the\nCouncil approve the award of contract).
