D.4 CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PUENTE\nAUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF\nTRANSPORTATION FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026 SAFE STREETS AND ROADS FOR ALL (SS4A)\nPLANNING AND DEMONSTRATION GRANT FUNDING AND COMMITTING TO A TWENTY\nPERCENT (20%) NON-FEDERAL IN-KIND MATCH\nStaff Recommendation:\nIt is recommended that the City Council: (1) adopt Resolution No. 26-5987 authorizing the submittal of an\napplication to the U.S. Department of Transportation for Fiscal Year 2026 Safe Streets and Roads for All\n(SS4A) Planning and Demonstration Grant funding; (2) commit to providing a twenty percent (20%) non-\nfederal in-kind match satisfied through City staff time; and (3) authorize the City Manager, or designee, to\nexecute all documents necessary to submit the application and, if awarded, to execute the grant agreement\nand any other documents necessary to accept and administer the grant.
