1. The City Council will meet in a study session pertaining to Christmas Morning & Holiday Events.\nThis is an opportunity to review the tradition of the Christmas Morning event, understand the logistics of a\nsuccessful event, and provide community input into the Cityâs celebration of the holiday season for 2023.\nThe City Council will recess and reconvene at 6:30 p.m. for the regular scheduled City Council meeting.

4. RESOLUTION NO. JPFA-66 & RESOLUTION NO. JPFA-67 ADOPTING BUDGETS FOR LA VERNE\nMOBILE COUNTRY CLUB MOBILE HOME PARK AND VALLEY RANCHO MOBILE HOME PARK -\nAnnually, the La Verne Public Financing Authority (LVPFA) reviews and approves the operating budgets\nfor the two LVPFA-owned mobile home parks. The budgets do not reflect significant changes from previous\nyears and are attached for the La Verne Public Financing Authorityâs consideration and adoption.\nRecommendation: That the La Verne Public Financing Authority adopt Resolution No. JPFA- 66 titled, âA\nRESOLUTION OF THE LA VERNE PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR LA\nVERNE MOBILE COUNTRY CLUB MOBILE HOME PARK; and adopt Resolution No. JPFA-67 titled, âA\nRESOLUTION OF THE LA VERNE PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR\nVALLEY RANCHO MOBILE HOME PARK.\nTHE LA VERNE PUBLIC FINANCNG AUTHORITY WILL ADJOURN AND THE CITY COUNCIL WILL\nIMMEDIATELY RECONVENE.\nOTHER MATTERS

6. AUTHORIZATION TO OFFER MONETARY REWARD IN INCIDENTS OF VIOLENT CRIME FOR\nINFORMATION LEADING TO ARREST AND CONVICTION - On July 1, 2023, during mid-day, Rodeo\nJewelers was the scene of a violent robbery in which the suspects drove their vehicle into the store,\nassaulted an employee, and conducted a smash and grab robbery. This item seeks to both offer a reward\nfor information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects as well as authorize the City Manager,\nupon recommendation of the Chief of Police, to offer a similar reward for future violent crimes.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize a $10,000 reward for information which leads to the\narrest and conviction of the suspects involved in the Rodeo Jewelers robbery and authorize the City\nManager, upon recommendation of the Chief of Police, to offer similar rewards for future violent crimes.
