Award of Construction Contract to California Professional Engineering, Inc.\nfor the Aliso Creek Road and Traffic Improvements Project, Cash Contract\nNo. 23-01\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Award the Construction Contract for the Aliso Creek Road and Traffic\nImprovements Project, Cash Contract No. 23-01 to California Professional\nEngineering, Inc in the amount of $323,157;\n2. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to process change\norders in an amount not to exceed $26,843, for a total not-to-exceed amount\nof $350,000 if needed;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract for the\nAliso Creek Road and Traffic Improvements Project, Cash Contract No. 23-\n01 with California Professional Engineering, Inc, subject to the City Attorney\nmaking non-substantive changes; and,\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute the Notice of\nCompletion at the conclusion of construction.
