6.\nAward of Construction Contract to Alfaro Communications Construction, Inc.\nfor the Bus Shelter Replacement Project, Cash Contract No. 24-08\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Award of Construction Contract to Alfaro Communications Construction, Inc.\nfor the Bus Shelter Replacement Project, Cash Contract No. 24-08 in the\namount of $1,668,967;\n2. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to process change orders\nin an amount not to exceed 20% of the contract for $333,793, for a total not-\nto-exceed amount of $2,002,760 if needed;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Construction Contract for the Bus\nShelter Replacement Project, Cash Contract No. 24-08 with Alfaro\nCommunications Construction, Inc., subject to the City Attorney making non-\nsubstantive changes; and,\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute the Notice of\nCompletion at the conclusion of construction.

7.\nAward of Maintenance Services Agreement for Citywide Street Striping to J &\nS Striping Company, Inc.\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends the City Council:\n1. Award a Maintenance Services Agreement for Citywide Street Striping to J &\nS Striping Company, Inc. in the amount of $317,125 for Fiscal Year 2025-26,\n$326,637 for Fiscal Year 2026-27 and $336,436 for Fiscal Year 2027-28,\nsubject to extension administratively for two additional one-year periods;\n2. Approve a not-to-exceed 20% contingency in the amount of $63,425 for\nFiscal Year 2025-26, $65,328 for Fiscal Year 2026-27 and $67,288 for Fiscal\nYear 2027-28 for unforeseen conditions or additional work and authorize the\nPublic Works Director/City Engineer to approve additional work with J & S\nStriping Company, Inc. for a total not-to-exceed amount of $380,550 for\nFiscal Year 2025-26, $391,965 for Fiscal Year 2026-27 and $403,724 for\nFiscal Year 2027-28; and,\n3.
