3.1\nAWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO T.E. ROBERTS, INC. FOR WATER\nMAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT FY 26 - PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT 25-12 - It is\nrecommended City Council 1) award a construction contract for Water Main Replacement\nProject FY 26 - PW Project 25-12 in the amount of $3,845,835 to T.E. Roberts, Inc. of\nIrvine and authorize Mayor to sign the contract in a form approved by the City Attorney;\n2) authorize staff to approve cumulative total of change orders as needed not-to-exceed\n$384,583; 3) adopt plans, specifications and working details for “Water Main Replacement\nProject FY 26 - PW Project 25-12; and 4) appropriate $4,480,418 from Water Enterprise\nFund and authorize staff to approve services for inspection, soil compaction and\nmiscellaneous tests as necessary for corresponding project.
