3.1\nAWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO T.E. ROBERTS, INC. FOR WATER\nMAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT FY 26 - PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT 25-12 - It is\nrecommended City Council 1) award a construction contract for Water Main Replacement\nProject FY 26 - PW Project 25-12 in the amount of $3,845,835 to T.E. Roberts, Inc. of\nIrvine and authorize Mayor to sign the contract in a form approved by the City Attorney;\n2) authorize staff to approve cumulative total of change orders as needed not-to-exceed\n$384,583; 3) adopt plans, specifications and working details for “Water Main Replacement\nProject FY 26 - PW Project 25-12; and 4) appropriate $4,480,418 from Water Enterprise\nFund and authorize staff to approve services for inspection, soil compaction and\nmiscellaneous tests as necessary for corresponding project. 3.2\nSTUDEBAKER ROAD – TRAFFIC CALMING CHANGE ORDER - It is recommended\nCity Council 1) adopt the working drawings for Traffic Calming Improvements at\nStudebaker Road; 2) adopt the working drawings for Traffic Calming Improvements at\nPalo Verde Avenue; 3) authorize staff to approve a change order with Hardy and Harper for\nthe “Phase 1” Traffic Calming Improvements at Studebaker Road in the amount of\n$360,450; and 4) authorize staff to approve a change order with Hardy and Harper for the\nfinal pavement rehabilitation and traffic calming improvements at Studebaker Road in the\namount of $1,736,530. 3.3\nCOUNCILMEMBER REQUESTED ITEM: CONSIDERATION OF AN AGREEMENT\nWITH (VIGILANT) MOTOROLA FOR THE PURCHASE OF AUTOMATED LICENSE\nPLATE READERS (ALPRS) - Staff is supportive of the City Council accepting the\nproposal from Motorola Solutions for the purchase and installation of Automated License\nPlate Readers for $979,496 and an additional $290,000 for preventative maintenance\nservices, for a total amount not to exceed $1,269,496; and, authorizing the City Manager\nto execute appropriate documentation to bind the city in a form subject to the approval of\nthe City Attorney.
