1.F Approval of Agreement with South Coast Fire Equipment for the Purchase of a
Fire Engine
Reference: Fire Chief Bent Koch
Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution approving the appropriation of funds for
the purchase of a fire engine for an amount not to exceed $1,147,048.84 to be
paid in annual installments over a three-year period and authorize the Interim
City Manager, in accordance with Municipal Code Section 3.24.100 (B) and
(C), to execute necessary documents with South Coast Fire Equipment on a
sole source basis for the capital expenditure.

Recommendation: Discuss, provide direction to staff, and conduct the first
reading and adopt the Tenant Protections Ordinance titled “An Ordinance Of
18.52 ("Just Cause Eviction") To Title 18 ("City-Wide Regulations") Of The
Lemon Grove Municipal Code, Prohibiting The Termination Of Certain
City Council Reports on Meetings Attended at the Expense of the City
(GC 53232.3 (d)) (53232.3. (d) states that members of a legislative body shall provide brief reports on
meetings attended at the expense of the local agency at the next regular meeting of the legislative body.)
