Recommendation for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Hernandez – Soto-Martínez): INSTRUCT the Department of General Services to: Negotiate and execute a lease with the Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP) to be the caretaker and manager of the site. The lease conditions must include the following: Policies and procedures unique to this site that ensure no costs for maintenance are passed on to other lease-holders, and ensure the center is accessible at reasonable day and evening hours. Clarity on which space(s) within the center are available to the RAP. Maintenance of a master calendar and space reservation system.
