Recommendations for Council action: 1. FIND that the dedication of an easement for street purposes on 12801 West Barbara Ann Street (Dedication) is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 pursuant to Article III, Class 5(4) of the City's Environmental Guidelines. 2. ACCEPT the petitioner's offer for the Dedication, substantially as shown on the Exhibit Map of the July 17, 2024 City Engineer report, attached to the Council file. 3. AUTHORIZE the Board of Public Works to acquire the Dedication. 4. INSTRUCT the City Clerk to forward a copy of the Council action on this project to the Bureau of Engineering, Survey Division for processing. Wednesday - August 7, 2024 - PAGE 5 shown on the Exhibit Map of the July 17, 2024 City Engineer report, attached to the Council file. 3. AUTHORIZE the Board of Public Works to acquire the Dedication. 4. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Engineer reports that a $3,416.51 fee for processing this report was paid pursuant to Sections 7.3 and 7.41.1 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code. No additional City funds are needed.

Recommendations for Council action: 1. ADOPT the City Engineer report dated June 17, 2024, attached to the Council file, to initiate the vacation proceedings to vacate 92nd Street east of Falmouth Avenue and its easterly terminus, as shown on Exhibit A of said City Engineer report, pursuant to California Streets and Highways Code, Division 9, Part 3, Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law. 2. DIRECT the Bureau of Engineering to investigate and report regarding the feasibility of this vacation request. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Engineer reports that a deposit of Wednesday $47,080 was -paid by the August petitioner 7, 2024 - for the investigation of this PAGE 11 request pursuant to Section 7.42 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code (LAAC). on Exhibit A of said City Engineer report, pursuant to California Streets and Highways Code, Division 9, Part 3, Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law. 2. DIRECT the Bureau of Engineering to investigate and report regarding the feasibility of this vacation request. Fiscal Impact Statement: The City Engineer reports that a deposit of $47,080 was paid by the petitioner for the investigation of this request pursuant to Section 7.42 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code (LAAC). Any deficit fee to recover the cost pursuant to LAAC Section 7.44 will be required of the petitioner.

INSTRUCT the City Clerk to encumber the necessary funds against the Contractual Services Account of the Council Fund for Fiscal Year 20242025, and to reflect it as a charge against the budget of the involved Council Office.
