8.3 NAMING OF GRAND MEETING ROOM AT HENNING YOUTH CENTER\nComments:\nStaff is requesting approval from the City Council to name the grand meeting room\nlocated inside the Henning Youth Center in honor of 14-year City employee Kyeisha “Ky”\nJackson. (REC)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING\nTHE OFFICAL NAMING OF THE GRAND ASSEMBLY ROOM WITHIN THE HENNING\nYOUTH CENTER IN HONOR OF KYEISHA JACKSON.”

8.4 APPROVE CIVILTEC ENGINEERING TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING\nSERVICES FOR THE REHABILATION DESIGN AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS OF\nWELL 11, CIP PROJECT NO. 4011.68.108.\nComments:\nCiviltec Engineering to provide professional engineering services as part of the FY 23/24\nOn-Call Professional Services for Utility Engineering for the Rehabilitation Design and\nSite Improvements for the City of Lynwood’s Well 11 located at 11645 Esther Street. (PW)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING\nCIVILTEC ENGINEERING TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES\nFOR THE REHABILITATION DESIGN AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS FOR WELL 11, CIP\nPROJECT 4011.68.108, FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $261,065.”

9.1 UTILITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM UPDATE\nComments:\nUtility Assistance Program update and staff recommendation for household grant\nassistance increase. (CD)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the Utility Assistance Program update\nand staff’s recommendation to increase the amount of assistance per household from\n$1,000 to $5,000.
