9.\nNEW/OLD BUSINESS\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING\nTHE AGNES STRIPING PROJECT FY 2024-2025 CIP NO. 2350|2352.68.145 AS\nCOMPLETE; AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION WITH\nTHE LOS ANGELES COUNTY RECORDER’S OFFICE AND THE RELEASE OF THE\n5% RETENTION 35 DAYS AFTER THE ACCEPTANCE.”\nComments:\nAs part of the City’s Fiscal Year 2025–2026 Capital Improvement Program, funding was\nallocated for the Street Name Sign Replacement Project to support the replacement and\nimprovement of existing street name signage throughout the city. The proposed street\nname signs will utilize high-visibility retroreflective sheeting rather than internally\nilluminated signage. Staff is proposing to award a contract to Walters Wholesale Electric\nfor the purchase of the street name signs. The project has been completed and is now ready for\nacceptance by the City Council.
