WAIVE FURTHER READING AND ADOPT AN ORDINANCE SETTING SPEED LIMITS\nBASED UPON CERTIFICATION OF THE 2017 ENGINEERING AND TRAFFIC SURVEY FOR\nSPEED LIMITS EFFECTIVE THROUGH OCTOBER 2031 AND THE 2024 ENGINEERING\nAND TRAFFIC SURVEY OF 26 LOCATIONS FOR SPEED LIMITS THROUGH OCTOBER\n2038\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Waiving the second reading and adopting the proposed ordinance; and\n(2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\n3-D CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION TO WAIVE SECOND READING OF AN\nORDINANCE AMENDING THE MONTEREY PARK MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 2.32\nUPDATING EMPLOYEE RELATIONS\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Waiving second reading and adopting the proposed ordinance amending Chapter 2.32 of\nMonterey Park Municipal Code (“MPMC”) revising Employee Relations procedures; and\n(2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

3-G. AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT TO KIMLEY-HORN AND\nASSOCIATES, INC. FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND\nENGINEER’S ESTIMATES (“PS&E”) FOR MONTEREY PASS ROAD COMPLETE STREET\nPROJECT\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute a Professional Services agreement with Kimley-\nHorn and Associates, Inc. for the preparation of PS&E for Monterey Pass Road Complete\nStreet Project in an amount not to exceed $1,883,170; and\n(2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTEREY PARK,\nCALIFORNIA DECLARING THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2025 AS NATIONAL HUMAN\nTRAFFICKING PREVENTION MONTH (AS REQUESTED BY COUNCIL MEMBER\nSANCHEZ)\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Adopting a Resolution declaring the month of January 2025 as National Human Trafficking\nPrevention Month; and\n(2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
