Authorizing the City Manager to take actions to honor Shirley Hwong with a memorial\ntree and plaque;\n2. Authorizing the City Manager to take actions to honor Fumiko “Mickey” Maruya with a\nmemorial tree and plaque; and\n3. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

10.B. Third Amendment to Agreement with HDL Coren & Cone for Property Tax\nConsultation Services\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a third amendment to HDL Coren & Cone\nAgreement No. 1975-A in a form approved by the City Attorney to continue providing\nproperty tax consultation services from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2031, for an\nadditional amount of $130,000, increasing the total contract amount to a not-to-\nexceed amount of $283,250 for the full Agreement term; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

10.C. Amendment to License Agreement with the Friends of the Monterey Park Library, Inc.\nfor Use of Library Bookstore\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to execute an amendment to the license\nAgreement No. 2533-A with the Friends of the Monterey Park Library, Inc. to transfer\nrights and responsibilities to the Monterey Park Library Foundation for space within\nthe Bruggemeyer Library to sell used books; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

10.D. Amendment agreement with Commercial Door for Continued Commercial-Grade Door\nand Gate Maintenance\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a Second Amendment to Agreement 2440-\nA with Commercial Door of Los Angeles County, Inc., in a form approved by the City\nAttorney, to increase compensation and extend the term for continued commercial-\ngrade door and gate maintenance; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

10.E. Amendment to Agreement No. 2477-A with Tripepi Smith & Associates, Inc.\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a first amendment to agreement no. 2477-A\nwith Tripepi Smith & Associates, Inc., in a form approved by the City Attorney, to\nprovide marketing and public affairs consulting services through June 30, 2027; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

Resolution Amending Resolution No. 10485 to Update the Composition of the\nNomination Committee for the Tree Memorial Nomination and Award Program\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Amending Resolution No. 10485, to update the composition for the Nomination\nCommittee for the Tree Memorial Nomination and Award Program to include\nmembers of the Community Participation Commission, Recreation and Parks\nCommission, and Aging Commission; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

Public Hearing to receive comments on the Program Year 2026-2027 Annual Action\nPlan for the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment\nPartnerships Programs\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Opening the public hearing to receive citizen input on community needs and priorities\nprior to final Community Development Block Grant and HOME funding decisions for\nthe Program Year 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

12.A. Establish a Temporary Ad Hoc Subcommittee to Explore Funding Strategies for the\nBarnes Park Aquatic Center\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Establishing a temporary Ad Hoc Subcommittee to assist staff in exploring funding\nopportunities and strategic partnerships for the proposed Barnes Park Aquatic\nCenter;\n2. Appointing up to two (2) City Councilmembers to serve on the Ad Hoc\nSubcommittee;\n3. Appointing Council Member Thomas Wong to serve on the Ad Hoc Subcommittee;\n4. Providing direction regarding funding strategies, partnership opportunities, and\npriorities to be explored by the Ad Hoc Subcommittee; and\n5. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
