7.\nAGREEMENT FOR A BACKUP BATTERY INCENTIVE FOR NORWALK RESIDENTS\nStaff recommend City Council approve a collaboration agreement between the City and Southern\nCalifornia Edison to subsidize backup battery installations for eligible Norwalk residents through Southern\nCalifornia Edison’s Building Electrification Pilot Program, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 per fiscal\nyear, for an initial term ending June 30, 2026, with an option to extend the agreement for up to one\nadditional year at the same annual not-to-exceed amount; and authorize the City Manager to execute the\nagreement provided there is funding in the budget and it is within the City Manager’s signing authority, on\nbehalf of the City, in a form approved by the City Attorney.

8.\nRESOLUTION NO. 26-12 - ACCEPTANCE OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION GRANT\nFUNDS FOR THE CITY OF NORWALK SMALL BUSINESS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM\nStaff recommend City Council:\na. adopt Resolution No. 26-12, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nNORWALK AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26 ADOPTED\nBUDGET FOR SMALL BUSINESS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, in the amount of\n$150,000; and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement with the Economic\nDevelopment Administration and any grant documents, on behalf of the City, in a form approved by\nthe City Attorney; and\nb. approve an agreement with Cielo Azul Advisors, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $300,000,\nfunded through the Economic Development Administration grant, to provide small business\ntechnical assistance services; and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and any\namendments provided there is funding in the budget and it is within the City Manager’s signing\nauthority, on behalf of the City, in a form approved by the City Attorney.\nAPPOINTMENTS
