C.\nAUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF SANITARY SEWER AND STORM DRAIN\nMAINTENANCE VEHICLES FOR USE BY VEOLIA WATER, FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-\nEXCEED AMOUNT OF $1,513,418.19.\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Approve the issuance of a purchase order to Plumber’s Depot, Inc. for the purchase\nof one new 2026 MC1311-3S4S GapVax Jet-Vac truck in an amount not to exceed\n$829,145.49, after discounts and trade in value, inclusive of the purchase price, sales\ntax and fees; and\n2. Approve the issuance of a purchase order to Municipal Maintenance Equipment Inc.\nfor the purchase of one new RapidView CCTV Truck in an amount not to exceed\n$684,272.70, inclusive of sales taxes and fees; and\n3. Appropriate $1,513,418.19 From the Wastewater fund; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all necessary documents.

A.\nRE-INTRODUCTION OF AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 5.27 TO THE PALM\nSPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE, RESTRUCTURING THE CITY’S HOTEL OPERATIONS\nINCENTIVE PROGRAM (CITYWIDE)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Waive the reading of the ordinance text in its entirety and read by title only; and\nintroduce for first reading Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF\nPALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, ADDING CHAPTER 5.27 TO THE PALM SPRINGS\nMUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO A RESTRUCTURED HOTEL OPERATIONS\nINCENTIVE PROGRAM,” and approve the ordinance. (The new Chapter 5.27 will\nreplace the current Chapter 5.26 program for future agreements.\n2. Authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make minor non-substantive\nchanges to the ordinance and execute all necessary documents to implement the\nprogram.

Authorize the City Manager to approve a task order for professional services related\nto the Total Nitrogen Effluent Limit Compliance Technical Report to Veolia Water West\nOperating, in an amount not to exceed $29,419.30\n2. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all necessary documents.

Approve Amendment No. 4 in the amount of $27,124.24 to Professional Services\nAgreement No. A6597, for a new not to exceed amount of $1,407,428.52 with Dokken\nEngineering for the East Palm Canyon Drive Bridge, City Project No. 12-04, Federal\nAid Project No. BRLS 5282(041); and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents.

Adopt a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY\nOF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE\nGOVERNOR’S OFFICE OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR\nCANNABIS EQUITY GRANT FUNDING.”\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute all documents consistent with this Resolution.
