UPDATE ON POLICE COMMUNICATIONS AND MAKING AN\nAPPROPRIATION OF THE BUDGET FROM THE TECHNOLOGY\nENHANCEMENT FUND NOT TO EXCEED $30,000 ; AND\nAUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE RELATED\nDOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND THE FINANCE\nDEPARTMENT TO MAKE SUCH ACCOUNTING ENTRIES FOR\nTHIS PURCHASE AS DEEMED APPROPRIATE AND ADOPTION OF\nRESOLUTION R25-01 APPROVING THE USE OF CITIZENS\nOPTIONS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY (COPS) FUNDS (PVE FUND 05)\nNOT TO EXCEED $174,405;\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council: 1)\nauthorize a budget amendment to utilize $30,000 from Fund 11\n(Technology Enhancement Fund); (2) adopt resolution R25-01 to\napprove the use of Citizens Options for Public Safety (COPS)\nfunds not to exceed $174,405; and (3) authorize the City Manager\nto execute related documents on behalf of the City and authorize\nthe Finance Department to make such accounting entries for this\nchange order as deemed appropriate.\nStaff Report
