Introduce\nOrdinance No. 767 amending Section 8.04.010 (Adoption of Los Angeles\nCounty Health And Safety Code) of Chapter 8.04 (Health Code) of Title 8\n(Health And Safety) of the Palos Verdes Estates Municipal Code to adopt\nby reference the current title 11 of the Los Angeles County Code, entitled\n"Health And Safety", and finding the same exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act; 2. 5. AWARD A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT TO GEOSYNTEC\nCONSULTANTS, INC. TO PREPARE A FEASIBILITY STUDY AND\nCONCEPTUAL PLAN FOR A STORMWATER DETENTION FACILITY(CITY\nPROJECT NO. PW-714-24) IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $45,000;\nAPPROVE ADDITIONAL PROJECT EXPENDITURES NOT TO EXCEED\n$4,500 WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY 10% OF THE CONTRACT AMOUNT;\nAND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALLCONTRACT\nDOCUMENTS IN FINAL FORM AND FORMAT AS APPROVED BY THE CITY\nATTORNEY\n5/11/25, 10:31 PM pvestates.granicus.com/GeneratedAgendaViewer.php?view_id=1&event_id=1286\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council: 1. Award a\nprofessional services agreement to Geosyntec Consultants, Inc.\n(Geosyntec) to prepare a feasibility study and conceptual plan for a\nstorm water detention facility (City Project No. PW-714-24) in the amount\nnot to exceed $45,000; 2. Approve additional project expenditures not to\nexceed $4,500, which is approximately 10% of the contract amount; and\n3.
