4.\nADOPT A RESOLUTION NO. 26-11 ACCEPTING THE EMERGENCY\nSTORM DRAIN REPAIR AND EROSION CONTROL WORK AT 4425\nLUCERA CIRCLE AND CITY BOUNDARY TRAIL AS COMPLETE,\nTERMINATING THE EMERGENCY ACTION, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY\nCLERK TO RECORD THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the City Council adopt Resolution\nNo. 26-11, accepting the emergency storm drain repair and erosion\ncontrol work at 4425 Lucera Circle and City Boundary Trail as complete,\nterminating the emergency action, and authorizing the City Clerk to\nrecord the Notice of Completion.

5.\nPALOS VERDES GOLF CLUB CENTENNIAL PROJECT - CLUBHOUSE\nRENOVATIONS/ADDITIONS\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the City Council That the City\nCouncil receive and file the associated documents regarding the Palos\nVerdes Golf Club completion of significant improvements to the Palos\nVerdes Golf Club clubhouse facilities, including a new two story building\nin replacement of the current Pro Shop and bag storage &\nrenovations/improvements to the existing main clubhouse to include\nenhanced and enlarged fitness areas. The list of project improvements is\nunder the Benefits of the Proposed Improvements within the $20M\nCentennial Project (Phase I & II) that was previously approved by the City\nCouncil on May 14, 2024 (Phase I - Driving Range & Short Game) and\nagain on May 28, 2024, Phase II (Clubhouse renovations).

6.\nVERIFICATION OF SUFFICIENCY OF SIGNATURES FOR INITIATIVE\nPETITION TO ENACT A CITY SPECIAL PARCEL TAX TO FUND LOCAL LAW\nENFORCEMENT AND PUBLIC SAFETY SERVICES\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the City Council:\n1)\nReceive, file and accept the Certificate of Sufficiency of Initiative Petition;\nand\n2)\nBased upon the sufficiency of the Petition, take one of the actions\nidentified below:\na.\nSubmit the initiative measure to the voters at the "next regular\nmunicipal election" occurring at least 88 days later; or\nb.\nSubmit the initiative measure to the voters at a special municipal\nelection occurring on a Tuesday that is not on, before or after a\nState holiday, that is between 88 and 103 days after the City\nCouncil calls the election; or\nc.\nDirect Staff to prepare an impartial and informational report\nanalyzing the impact of the initiative measure on the City’s\nfinances, ability to provide public services, land use and\ndevelopment regulations, and the like.
