11. AWARD OF COUNCIL CHAMBER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – NEW FIXED\nCONTRACT SEATING, WORKSTATION, AND FLOORING\nRecommended Action:\nA. Award a contract to Sierra School Equipment for new fixed\nseating and a new workstation in the City Council Chamber, in\nthe amount of $88,890; authorize the Mayor or her designee to\nexecute the agreement in a form approved by the City Attorney;\nand authorize the City Manager to utilize a project contingency\nof up to 10% in the event of unforeseen conditions.\nB. Award a contract to Mohawk for new flooring in the City Council\nChamber, in the amount of $46,707; authorize the Mayor or her\ndesignee to execute the agreement in a form approved by the\nCity Attorney; and authorize the City Manager to utilize a project\ncontingency of up to 10% in the event of unforeseen conditions.

APPROVAL AGREEMENT WITH GATEWAY CITIES COUNCIL OF\nGOVERNMENTS FOR THE ALONDRA BOULEVARD COMPLETE\nSTREET STUDY\nRecommended Action: 1) Appropriate $10,350 from the City’s\nProp C funding allocation; and 2) Authorize the Mayor or her\ndesignee to execute the Implementation Agreement with Gateway\nCities Council of Governments for the Alondra Boulevard Complete\nStreet Study.

APPROVAL PARADE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR OUR LADY OF THE\nROSARY CHURCH – OCTOBER 5, 2024\nRecommended Action: Approve the parade permit application with\nthe understanding that Our Lady of the Rosary will reimburse the\nCity approximately $1,600 for the cost to provide assistance for the\nannual parade, acquire appropriate liability insurance for the event,\nand contract with a third-party motorcade agency to provide eight\nmotorcade units for the event.
