Adopt Resolution No. 25:030, a Resolution of the City Council\nof the City of Paramount approving General Plan Amendment\nNo. 25-2, approving a request by Gold Key Development, Inc.\nto change the General Plan land use designation from MixedUse Commercial and Senior Assisted/Independent Living\nFacility to Mixed-Use Commercial and Multiple-Family\nResidential for the properties located at 16635, 16675, and\n16683 Paramount Boulevard; and finding the project consistent\nwith a previously adopted amendment to a mitigated negative\ndeclaration under the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) guidelines.\nB.) Read by title only, waive further reading and introduce\nOrdinance No. 1204, an Ordinance of the City Council of the\nCity of Paramount amending Ordinance No. 178, the\ncomprehensive Zoning Ordinance, approving Zone Change\nNo. 252, and changing the official Zoning Map of the City of\nParamount from PD-PS (Planned Development with\nPerformance Standards)/Mixed-Use Commercial and Senior\nAssisted/Independent Living Facility to PD-PS/Multiple-Family\nResidential to allow for the development of 17 single-family\nresidential dwelling units at 16635, 16675, and 16683\nParamount Boulevard in the City of Paramount and finding the\nproject consistent with a previously adopted amendment to a\nmitigated negative declaration under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines; and place it on\nthe September 23, 2025 agenda for adoption.
