Authorization to Apply for and Receive an Award of Housing Accelerator Funds from the\nCalifornia Department of Housing and Community Development for the East End Village\nAffordable Housing Project\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2023-33 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO BE A\nCO-APPLICANT AND CO-RECIPIENT OF CALIFORNIA HOUSING ACCELERATOR\nFUNDS THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY\nDEVELOPMENT FOR THE EAST END VILLAGE AFFORDABLE HOUSING\nPROJECT IN THE CITY OF POMONA\n2) Approve a Standard Agreement (STD213) in an amount not to exceed $46,386,823, to\nsecure the California Housing Accelerator Loan from the California State Department\nof Housing and Community Development (“HCD”) and to participate in the California\nHousing Accelerator program; and\n3) Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and any extensions,\nsubsequent non-substantive changes or corrections that may be required by HCD or\namendments thereto, on behalf of the City, subject to review and approval as to form\nby the City Attorney.\nAttachments: staff report.docx\nresolution.DOCX\nAttach 2.pdf
