DBA PRECISION\nCONCRETE CUTTING FOR SIDEWALK TRIP HAZARD REMOVAL AND\nASSESSMENT SERVICES (Parco)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1)\nWaive formal competitive bidding requirements and procedures set\nforth in the Rancho Santa Margarita Municipal Code (RSMMC) Section\n3.07, and authorize the approval of a maintenance services\nagreement with Southern California Precision Concrete, Inc. dba\nPrecision Concrete Cutting for Sidewalk Trip Hazard Removal and\nAssessment Services, as it is hereby found and determined, pursuant\nto RSMMC Section 3.07.070.(7) that the maintenance services\nagreement is exempt from the City’s formal competitive bidding\nrequirements and procedures based on the fact, findings, and\ninformation set forth herein by City staff; and\n2)\nApprove a proposed Maintenance Services Agreement with Southern\nCalifornia Precision Concrete, Inc. dba Precision Concrete Cutting in\nthe total maximum not-to-exceed contract amount of $200,000 for a\nfive-year term; and\n3)\nAuthorize the Mayor to execute proposed Maintenance Services\nAgreement with Southern California Precision Concrete, Inc. dba\nPrecision Concrete Cutting.\nItem No. 5.7

5.9 APPROVAL OF A PURCHASE ORDER WITH SOUTH COAST LIGHTING &\nDESIGN, INC., TO PROCURE MATERIALS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2025/26\nTRAFFIC SIGNAL ENHANCEMENTS PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$105,806.51 (Parco)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1)\nWaive competitive formal bidding requirements and procedures set\nforth in the City of Rancho Santa Margarita Municipal Code (RSMMC)\nSection 3.07.060 and authorize the sole source procurement with\nregards to approval of a Purchase Order with South Coast Lighting &\nDesign, Inc., as it is hereby found and determined, pursuant to\nRSMMC Section 3.07.070, that a specific make, model, or brand is\nnecessary to match existing city goods and supplies or equipment or\nto facilitate the continuity of effective maintenance and support based\non the information presented herein by City staff; and\n2)\nApprove a Purchase Order to South Coast Lighting and Design, Inc.\nfor traffic signal enhancement materials in the amount of\n$105,806.51; and\n3)\nAuthorize the City Manager to sign the City’s standard Purchase Order\nwith South Coast Lighting & Design, Inc.\nItem No. 5.9
