7.3 APPROVAL OF A PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE\nVETERANS MONUMENT AT CENTRAL PARK PROJECT TO BOLT ACTION GC,\nINC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $72,015 AND A PURCHASE ORDER FOR\nFABRICATION FOR THE VETERANS MONUMENT PLAQUE MATERIALS IN THE\nAMOUNT OF $38,418 TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BRONZE COMPANY (Parco)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1) Approve the plans and specifications for the Veterans Monument at Central\nPark Project; and\n2) Find that the Project is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA), as a Class 1 and Class 3 New\nConstruction or Conversion of Small Structures Existing Facilities, pursuant\nto CEQA Guidelines, Section 15301; and\n3) Adopt a Resolution entitled:\nA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO SANTA\nMARGARITA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 CAPITAL\nIMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL\nEXPENDITURES FOR THE VETERANS MONUMENT AT CENTRAL PARK\nPROJECT\n4) Award a Public Works Construction Contract to Bolt Action GC, Inc. of\nNewport Beach, California, in the amount of $72,015; and\n5) Authorize the Mayor to execute the proposed Public Works Construction\nContract; and\n6) Approve a Purchase Order to Southern California Bronze Company for the\nfabrication of plaque materials for the Veterans Monument Project in the\namount of $38,418; and\n7) Authorize the City Manager to sign the City’s standard Purchase Order with\nSouthern California Bronze Company.\nItem No. 7.3
