Approve a First Amendment to the Construction Contract with Toro Enterprises Inc.\n(Contract No. 2110(a)) increasing the contract amount by $853,845.70 to a total\nnot-to-exceed amount of $6,172,657.66, and extending the contract term until\nSeptember 30, 2024, for the construction of the San Fernando Pacoima Wash Bikeway and\nPedestrian Path, Federal Project No. ATPL-5202(020), Job No. 7615, Plan No. P-737;\nb. 5) CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE OF WATER FUND BALANCE\nRESERVES FOR FINAL PAYMENT TO METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT FOR IMPORTING OF\nWATER\nRecommend that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 8297 approving funding totaling\n$730,000 from Water Fund Balance Reserves for final payment to Metropolitan Water District\nto cover the final costs of importing water from December 2023 through March 2024.\nSpecial and Regular Meeting Notice and Agenda – April 15, 2024

6) CONSIDERATION TO AUTHORIZE SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT APPLICATION, AS A PARTNER WITH\nTHE CENTER BY LENDISTRY, TO THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION FOR THE\nCLEAN ENERGY ACCESS GRANT\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Authorize the preparation and submittal of a grant application, as a partner with The Center\nby Lendistry, to the California Public Utility Commission for $500,000 for the Clean Energy\nAccess Grant; and\nb.
