Award a Professional Services Agreement (Contract No. 2263) to Eurofins Eaton Analytical,\nLLC in an amount not-to-exceed $160,000 per fiscal year, for Public Water System\nLaboratory and Analytical Services for a three-year term, with a City option to renew for\ntwo one-year terms; and\nb. Continue the Public Hearing to a date certain by or before July 20, 2024; and\ne. 4) CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR AND GIVING NOTICE OF HOLDING\nA GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024, REQUEST TO CONSOLIDATE THE\nELECTION WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION, AUTHORIZE THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY\nELECTIONS OFFICIAL TO PERFORM ELECTION SERVICES, AND ADOPTING REGULATIONS\nPERTAINING CANDIDATE STATEMENTS AND RELATED MATERIALS SUBMITTED TO THE\nELECTORATE\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Adopt Resolution No. 8314 calling and giving notice of the City of San Fernando’s General\nMunicipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the election of two City\nCouncilmembers to each serve four-year terms;\nb. Approve the request to consolidate the election with the Statewide General Election; and\nrequest that the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors consent, and effectuate such\nconsolidation to issue instructions to the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County\nClerk to take any and all steps necessary for the holding of the consolidated election;\nc. Adopt regulations pursuant to Elections Code Sections 13307 through EC 13313,\npertaining to candidate statements and related election materials; and\nd. Authorize the City Clerk to file all required documents by July 8, 2024, with the Board of\nSupervisors to effectuate the request for election consolidated services.
