1. APPROVAL OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT SCHEDULE\nOF FEES FOR SERVICE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 AND ADOPTION OF\nRESOLUTION NO. R-23-25 AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-21-10 TO\nINCLUDE THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT’S SCHEDULE OF\nFEES FOR SERVICE FOR FY 2023-24\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council approve the Community\nServices Department’s Schedule of Fees for Service for FY 2023-24 and adopt\nResolution No. R-23-25 amending Resolution No. R-21-10 to include the Community\nServices Department’s Schedule of Fees for Service for FY 2023-24.\nIf the City Council concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would\nbe: “I move to approve the Community Services Department’s Schedule of Fees for\nService for FY 2023-24 and adopt Resolution No. R-23-25 amending Resolution No. R-\n21-10 to include the Community Services Department’s Schedule of Fees for Service\nfor FY 2023-24.”\nCONSENT CALENDAR

2. ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. O-23-1405 (SECOND READING)\nAMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 23.03.01 TO IMPLEMENT\nSENATE BILL 6 AND ASSEMBLY BILL 2011 BY ALLOWING\nMULTIFAMILY DEVELOPMENT IN THE C-1 COMMERCIAL ZONE WHEN\nTHOSE DEVELOPMENTS MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE\nGOVERNMENT CODE AND REVISING THE APPLICABILITY OF THE\nOBJECTIVE DESIGN STANDARDS IN THE C-1 ZONE\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council adopt Ordinance No. O-23-1405. If\nthe City Council concurs with staff’s recommendation an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to waive full reading and introduce by title only Ordinance No. O-23- 1405, an\nOrdinance of the San Marino City Council amending San Marino Municipal Code Section\n23.03.01 to implement Senate Bill 6 and Assembly Bill 2011 by allowing multifamily\ndevelopment in the C-1 Commercial Zone when those developments meet the\nrequirements of the Government Code and revising the applicability of the objective\ndesign standards in the C-1 Zone.”

APPROVAL TO PURCHASE FIRE DEPARTMENT BATTALION VEHICLE\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the City Council approve the purchase of one\n2024 Chevrolet Silverado from National Auto Fleet Group in the amount of $75,132.45.\nIf the City Council concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would\nbe:\nAGENDA – JULY 28, 2023 PAGE 4 of 4\n“I move to approve the procurement and authorize the City Manager to execute a\npurchase agreement of one 2024 Chevrolet Silverado from National Auto Fleet Group\nin the amount of $75,132.45.”

APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF TWO ELECTRIC RIDING MOWERS FOR\nTHE PARKS AND PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF\n$58,790 AND APPROPRIATION OF $11,290 FROM THE AIR DISTRICT\nFUND FOR THE PURCHASE\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the City Council approve the purchase of two\nelectric riding mowers from La Verne Power Equipment, Inc., in the amount of $58,790,\nand authorize the appropriation of $11,290 into the Air District Fund Account # 212-\n00-3203-0080.\n“I move to approve the purchase of two electric riding mowers from La Verne Power\nEquipment, Inc., in the amount of $58,790, and authorize the appropriation of $11,290\ninto the Air District Fund Account # 212-00-3203-0080.”\nWRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS OR PUBLIC WRITINGS DISTRIBUTION\nThis is an opportunity to announce any written communications pertaining to the City\nreceived by members of the City Council.
