CONSIDERATION OF AN APPEAL OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION’S\nDECISION TO APROVE DESIGN REVIEW CASE NOS. 21-25 & 21-73 AT\n1408 WILSON AVENUE FOR A FIRST AND SECOND STORY 418\nSQUARE-FOOT ADDITION (SIGO GROUP MANAGEMENT, LLC)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council affirm the adoption of Planning\nCommission Resolution No. PCR 23-19. If the City Council concurs with staff’s\nrecommendation, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to adopt City Council Resolution No. R-24-01 affirming the adoption of\nPlanning Commission Resolution No. PCR 23-19 approving Design Review Permit\nNumbers DRC 21-25 and DR 21-73 at 1408 Wilson Avenue to allow a 287 sq ft one-\nstory addition and a 131 sq ft second-story addition.”\nNEW BUSINESS

RECEIVE AND FILE THE REVISED CITYWIDE TRAFFIC CIRCULATION\nSTUDY PREPARED BY ITERIS AND THE TRAFFIC TASK FORCE REPORT,\nAND AUTHORIZE STAFF TO BEGIN FURTHER REVIEW AND ANALYSIS\nOF POTENTIAL INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT SAN MARINO\nAVENUE/HUNTINGTON DRIVE, LOS ROBLES AVENUE/MISSION\nSTREET AND SIERRA MADRE BOULEVARD/ROBLES AVENUE AND\nBEGIN IMPLEMENTATION OF THE “QUICK FIX” CONSIDERATIONS\nFOR TRAFFIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENT CITYWIDE.\nRecommendation: Staff recommends 1) the City Council receive and file the revised\ndraft Citywide Traffic Circulation Study, dated April 25 2023, prepared by Iteris, and\nthe Traffic Task Force report, and 2) authorize staff to begin further review and\nanalysis of potential intersection improvements at San Marino Avenue/Huntington\nDrive, Los Robles Avenue/Mission Street, and Sierra Madre Boulevard/Robles Avenue,\nand begin implementation of the “quick fix” considerations for the improvement of\ntraffic safety citywide. If the Council concurs with staff’s recommendation, an\nappropriate motion would be:\n“I move to 1) Receive and file the Revised Citywide Traffic Circulation Study, dated\nApril 25, 2023, prepared by Iteris, and the Traffic Task Force report, and 2) authorize\nstaff to begin further review and analysis of potential intersection improvements at\nSan Marino Avenue/Huntington Drive, Los Robles Avenue/Mission Street, and Sierra\nMadre Boulevard/Robles Avenue, and begin implementation of the “quick fix”\nconsiderations for the improvement of traffic safety citywide.”\nCONSENT CALENDAR

REJECTION OF ALL BIDS FOR THE STREETLIGHT REPLACEMENT\nPROGRAM PROJECT NO. 23-9274\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council reject all bids for the\nStreetlight Replacement Program Project No. 23-9274 and authorize staff to consider\nrevising the scope of the project and/or consider other alternatives to complete the\nproject. If the Council concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion\nwould be:\n“I move to reject all bids for the Streetlight Replacement Program Project No. 23-\n9274.”

4. RECEIVE AND FILE MONTHLY DISBURSEMENTS REPORT FOR\nJANUARY 2024\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council receive and file the Monthly\nDisbursements Report for the month of January 2024. If the City Council concurs\nwith staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to receive and file the Monthly Disbursements Report for the month of\nJanuary 2024.”

5. CASH AND INVESTMENT REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER\n2023\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council receive and file this report. If the\nCity Council concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to receive and file the Cash and Investment Report for the Month of\nDecember 2023.”

APPROVAL OF MINUTES\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council approve the January 2024 minutes.\nIf the City Council concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would\nbe:\n“I move to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of January 10, 2024, the\nadjourned regular meeting of January 26, 2024, and the special meeting of January\n26, 2024.”
