If Council concurs with staff’s recommendation, an\nappropriate motion would be:\n“I move to accept the official canvass of the General Municipal Election and Special\nMunicipal Election held on November 5, 2024, and adopt Resolution No. R-24-33\ndeclaring the results thereof.”\nCEREMONIAL

10. APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 2 WITH ECONOMICS, INC. FOR SOLID\nWASTE CONSULTING SERVICES EXTENDING THE TERM THROUGH\nDECEMBER 31, 2025\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Amendment No.\n2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Economics, Inc. for solid waste\nconsulting services extending the term through December 31, 2025. If the Council\nconcurs, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with\nEconomics, Inc. for solid waste consulting services extending the term through\nDecember 31, 2025 and authorize the City Manager to execute the Amendment on\nbehalf of the City.”

APPOINTMENT OF ADVISORY BODY MEMBER TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY\nCOMMISSION\nRecommendation: The Council Liaisons for the Public Safety Commission recommend\nthe Council appointment of one (1) full member to serve a partial term commencing\non December 12, 2024.\nIf Council concurs, the appropriate motions would be:\n“I move to appoint Brian Davis as a full member of the Public Safety Commission to\nserve a partial term to end on May 31, 2026.”
