R-24-33 CERTIFYING THE\nNOVEMBER 5, 2024, ELECTION RESULTS\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council accept the official canvass of the\nGeneral Municipal Election held on November 5, 2024, and adopt Resolution No. R-\n24-33 declaring the results. If Council concurs with staff’s recommendation, an\nappropriate motion would be:\n“I move to accept the official canvass of the General Municipal Election and Special\nMunicipal Election held on November 5, 2024, and adopt Resolution No. R-24-33\ndeclaring the results thereof.”\nCEREMONIAL

10. APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 2 WITH ECONOMICS, INC. FOR SOLID\nWASTE CONSULTING SERVICES EXTENDING THE TERM THROUGH\nDECEMBER 31, 2025\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council approve Amendment No.\n2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Economics, Inc. for solid waste\nconsulting services extending the term through December 31, 2025. If the Council\nconcurs, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to approve Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with\nEconomics, Inc. for solid waste consulting services extending the term through\nDecember 31, 2025 and authorize the City Manager to execute the Amendment on\nbehalf of the City.”

11. CASH AND INVESTMENT REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2024\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council receive and file this report. If the\nCity Council concurs with staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to receive and file the Cash and Investment Report for the Month of October\n2024.”

12. RECEIVE AND FILE MONTHLY DISBURSEMENTS REPORT FOR\nNOVEMBER 2024\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council receive and file the Monthly\nDisbursements Report for the month of November 2024. If the City Council concurs\nwith staff’s recommendation, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to receive and file the Monthly Disbursements Report for the month of\nNovember 2024.”

13. SCHEDULED VACANCIES FOR COMMISSIONS, COMMITTEES, AND\nBOARDS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2025\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the Council accept and file the Local\nAppointments List for all City commissions, committees, and boards for calendar year\n2025, and direct the City Clerk to post the list.

14. APPOINTMENT OF ADVISORY BODY MEMBER TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY\nCOMMISSION\nRecommendation: The Council Liaisons for the Public Safety Commission recommend\nthe Council appointment of one (1) full member to serve a partial term commencing\non December 12, 2024.\nIf Council concurs, the appropriate motions would be:\n“I move to appoint Brian Davis as a full member of the Public Safety Commission to\nserve a partial term to end on May 31, 2026.”
