LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES MEMBERSHIP - The League of California\nCities (Cal Cities) is a legislative advocacy association that represents the interests of\ncities throughout the State, primarily on matters related to state legislation. The City of\nSanta Clarita (City) has been a member of Cal Cities since City incorporation in\nDecember 1987 and annual membership is approximately $45,000.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council discuss and provide direction to staff.

QUICK RESPONSE CODE BUS STOP SIGN REPLACEMENT - City Council\nconsideration to award Sterndhal Enterprises, LLC, the contract for the replacement and\ninstallation of Quick Response Codes at 692 bus stops.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute a contract with Sterndhal\nEnterprises, LLC, for the removal of old/damaged signs and installation of new Quick\nResponse code signs at 692 bus stops in an amount of $196,740, and authorize a 10\npercent project contingency of $19,674, for a total contract amount not to exceed\n$216,414.\n2. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all contract documents and\nextensions, subject to City Attorney approval.\nThis time has been set aside for any speakers that have turned in speaker cards and were not\nheard in the first thirty minutes allotted to address the City Council on items that are NOT on the\nagenda. Speaker cards may not be submitted relating to any items listed on the agenda.\nSTAFF COMMENTS
