RESOLUTION NO. 9900 – SUMMARY VACATION OF A PORTION OF\nCHARLESWORTH ROAD WEST OF ALBURTIS AVENUE AND DETERMINING\nTHAT THE VACATION IS EXEMPT UNDER CEQA (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Find and determine that the proposed street vacation as described in the City\nEngineer’s Report and on Attachment A is excess right-of-way and is not required\nfor street or highway purposes; and\n2) Find and determine that the proposed street vacation will not cut off all access to\nadjoining properties and will not affect any public service easement; and\n3) Adopt Resolution No. 9900 determining that the vacation of a portion of\nCharlesworth Road is exempt from CEQA and ordering the vacation of a portion\nof Charlesworth Road, West of Alburtis Avenue; and\n4) Authorize the City Manager to execute the quitclaim deed to the Los Nietos School\nDistrict; and\n5) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 150 OF THE CODE OF SANTA FE SPRINGS\nRELATING TO BUILDING REGULATIONS (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Introduce for first reading by title only and waive further reading of Ordinance No.\n1137: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA FE SPRINGS AMENDING\nTHE CITY OF SANTA FE SPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE BY MODIFYING\nCHAPTER 150 (BUILDING REGULATIONS) BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE\nTHE 2023 LOS ANGELES COUNTY BUILDING CODE (TITLE 26), ELECTRICAL\nCODE (TITLE 27), PLUMBING CODE (TITLE 28), MECHANICAL CODE (TITLE\n29), RESIDENTIAL CODE (TITLE 30), EXISTING BUILDING CODE (TITLE 33),\nWITH CERTAIN AMENDMENTS, ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS THERETO;\nand\nMarch 19, 2024: City Council Meeting Page 9 of 10\n2) Schedule a public hearing on April 2, 2024, to consider adoption and second\nreading of the Ordinance No. 1137; and\n3) Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

RESIDENTIAL STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM UPGRADE PROJECT (PHASE 3) –\nAWARD OF TASK ORDER FOR DESIGN SERVICES (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Award a Task Order to PSOMAS of Santa Ana, California in the amount of\n$294,650 for the Residential Street Lighting System Upgrade Project (Phase 3);\nand\n2) Authorize the City Manager to execute a Task Order for On-Call Professional\nEngineering Services with PSOMAS; and\n3) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

TRANSFER OF LAKELAND AND LAUREL AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROPERTY\nTO THE CITY TO CORRECT VESTING OF TITLE AND FACILITATE SALE TO\nHABITAT FOR HUMANITY LOS ANGELES (CITY ATTORNEY)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve a Joint Resolution of The City Council of The City of Santa Fe Springs,\nThe City Council Acting As The Successor Agency to The Community\nDevelopment Commission of The City of Santa Fe Springs, And Acting As The\nSuccessor Agency to The Santa Fe Springs Redevelopment Agency Approving\nThe Transfer of Certain Property Set Aside For Affordable Housing to The City of\nSanta Fe Springs to Fulfill The City Obligations For A Purchase And Sale\nAgreement With Habitat For Humanity of Greater Los Angeles And Directing The\nExecutive Director/City Manager to Execute The Deeds And All Necessary And\nRelated Documents to Complete The Transfer And Finding This Action Exempt\nFrom The California Environmental Quality Act.
