(PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve an agreement with Ron's Maintenance, Inc., for catch basin inspection\nand cleaning, for a period of three years with two one-year renewal options for a\nnot-to-exceed annual amount of $109,080.00; and\n2) Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement; and\n3) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

RESOLUTION NO. 9912 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA FE\n SPRINGS WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 117 (OIL & GAS) OF\n THE SANTA FE SPRINGS CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR ONE UNLOCATED\n ABANDONED OIL WELL AT 12300 LAKELAND ROAD, SANTA FE SPRINGS,\n CALIFORNIA, AND RELATED ENVIRONMENTAL RELEASE AND INDEMNITY\n AGREEMENT (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\n\n RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n\n 1) Adopt Resolution No. 9912, waiving the requirement of Chapter 117 (Oil & Gas)\n of the Santa Fe Springs Municipal Code of Ordinance for an unlocated\n abandoned oil well at 12300 Lakeland Road, Santa Fe Springs, California (APN:\n 8025-002-026); and\n\n 2) Approve the Environmental Release and Indemnity Agreement between the City\n of Santa Fe Springs and Duke Realty Lakeland Road LP, to indemnify and\n release the City of Santa Fe Springs from any and all liability associated with the\n oil and gas wells (API 04-037-16095 and API 04-037-16096), located on property\n at 12300 Lakeland Road, Santa Fe Springs, California (APN: 8025-002-026); and\n\n 3) Authorize the Mayor or designee to execute an Indemnity Agreement between\n the City of Santa Fe Springs and Duke Realty Lakeland Road LP.
