SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 1166 AMENDING SECTIONS 155.175.2 (USES) AND\n155.637 (MINI-WAREHOUSES) WITHIN TITLE 15 (LAND USE), CHAPTER 155 (ZONING), OF THE\nSANTA FE SPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE AND DETERMINING THAT THE PROJECT IS EXEMPT FROM\nCEQA (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Adopt Ordinance No. 1166: An Ordinance of the City of Santa Fe Springs Municipal Code relating\nto mini-warehouses in the Mixed-Use Transit-Oriented Development (MU-TOD) Zone; and\n2) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

COUNCIL CHAMBER AUDIO, VISUAL AND AGENDALINK SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY UPGRADE –\nAWARD OF CONTRACT (PUBLIC WORKS)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1) In accordance with Santa Fe Springs Municipal Code Section 34.18, find and determine by a 4/5\nvote of the City Council that bidding is impractical, not in the best interest of the city and will not\nlikely result in the lowest price; and\n2) Award a sole-sourced contract to Western Audio Visual and Security (WAVSS) for upgrade of the\nCouncil Chamber audio, visual and Agendalink Agenda Management Software technology in the\namount of $119,489; and\n3) Authorize the City Manager to execute the contract with Western Audio Visual and Security; and\n4) Appropriate $120,000 from the Capital Improvement Program Reserve Fund for the project; and\n5) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

RESOLUTION NO. 9996 – IMPLEMENTING ALL-WAY STOP CONTROL AT THE INTERSECTION OF\nORR & DAY ROAD AND FLOSSMOOR ROAD (PUBLIC WORKS)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve the installation of stop signs with flashing LEDs and advance flashing yellow beacons\non Orr & Day Road on its approaches to the intersection with Flossmoor Road; and\n2) Adopt Resolution No. 9996 to establish an all-way stop control at the intersection of Orr & Day\nRoad and Flossmoor Road; and\n3) Appropriate $52,533 from the Capital Improvement Reserve Fund to fund this project; and\n4) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE EXTENSION OF THE USE AGREEMENT WITH NORWALK SANTA FE\nSPRINGS SAINTS YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEER (PARKS AND RECREATION)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve Amendment No. 1 to the extension of the use agreement with Norwalk Santa Fe Springs\nSaints Youth Football and Cheer; and\n2) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.\nAPPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND COMMISSIONS\nCOUNCIL COMMENTS\nCouncilmember announcements; requests for future agenda items; conference/meeting reports.\nMembers of the City Council will provide a brief report on meetings attended at the expense of the local\nagency as required by Government Code Section 53232.3(d).
