10. AWARD OF CONTRACT – RFP 26-1 CITY-WIDE SECURITY AND SURVEILLANCE CAMERA SYSTEM\n(POLICE AND COMMUNITY SERVICES)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Veterans\nCommunication Services Inc. not-to-exceed amount of $1,204,214 for a two-fiscal year term; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with RCS\nInvestigations & Consulting for project management services no-to-exceed amount of $80,500;\nand\n3. Authorize a 30% project contingency of $385,414 for unforeseen expenses; and\n4. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

11. APPROVAL OF ROOM RENAMING AND NAMING DESIGNATION AT THE CLARKE ESTATE\n(PARKS & RECREATION)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Approve the renaming and formal designation of specific rooms within the Clark Estate from\n“Bride Suite” to be renamed as the Marie Suite, “Upstairs Bedroom” to be renamed as the Rankin\nSuite, and “Southeast Bedroom” to be renamed as the Chauncey Suite; and\n2. Reaffirm and standardize the naming of other key interior spaces to reflect the historical\ncharacter of the Clark Estate; and\n3. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

12. HERITAGE SPRINGS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 2001-01 (HAWKINS ST AND PALM DR)\nADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 10008 (PUBLIC WORKS)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 10008, ordering the preparation of the Engineer’s Report for Fiscal Year\n2026/27 in conjunction with the annual levy of assessments for Heritage Springs Assessment\nTake such additional, related action that may be desirable.\n2. 13. SANTA FE SPRINGS LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1 – ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 10006 AND\nRESOLUTION NO. 10007 (PUBLIC WORKS)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 10006, approving the Engineer’s Report (Fiscal Year 2026/27) in\nconjunction with the annual levy of assessments for Street Lighting District No. 1; and\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 10007, declaring the City of Santa Fe Springs’ intention to provide for an\nannual levy and collection of assessments for Lighting District No. 1, and setting the public\nhearing for the Council meeting on April 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and\n3. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

PURCHASE OF SEVEN CHARGEPOINT EV CHARGERS LEVEL 2 (PUBLIC WORKS)\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1.\nIn accordance with Santa Fe Springs Municipal Code Section 34.18, authorize a sole-source\npurchase from Walter’s Wholesale Electric since the city desires to match the existing EV\ncharger equipment currently in use and Walter’s is the local distributor for ChargePoint; and\n2. Award a sole-source purchase order to Walter’s Wholesale Electric for the purchase of Seven\n(7) Level 2 ChargePoint EV Chargers Model CP6621B-80A-L5.5 in the amount of $77,363;\nand\n3.\nAuthorize the City Manager to execute the purchase with Walter’s Wholesale Electric; and\n4.\nAppropriate $80,000 from the AB 2766 AQMD Vehicle Subvention Fund for the purchase of the\nEV Chargers; and\n5. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.

Adopt Ordinance No. 1167: An Ordinance of the City of Santa Fe Springs Municipal Code relating\nto the temporary storage of trucks, chassis, and containers on already entitled properties\nthrough approval of a Conditional Use Permit; and\n2. Approve side letter #1 to the 2024-2027 Memorandum of Understanding between the City of\nSanta Fe Springs and the Santa Fe Springs Employees Association.\nAPPOINTMENTS TO BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND COMMISSIONS\nCOUNCIL COMMENTS/AB1234 COUNCIL CONFERENCE REPORTING\nCouncilmember announcements; requests for future agenda items; conference/meeting reports.\nMembers of the City Council will provide a brief report on meetings attended at the expense of the local\nagency as required by Government Code Section 53232.3(d).

Adopt Ordinance No.1168: An Ordinance amending Sections 93.20 through 93.99 (Fireworks)\nof Chapter 93 (Fire Prevention and Protection) of Title IX (General Regulations) of the Santa Fe\nSprings Municipal Code (“SFSMC”) to support an effective permit application procedure and\nsafe operation of fireworks stands; and\n2. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
