Approval of Emergency Animal Veterinary Services Contract with\nCompassion-First Pet Hospitals - AVIM LP d/b/a Pacific Care Pet\nEmergency and Specialty (Pacific Care Pet Emergency) - That the City\nCouncil adopt Resolution 7444: 1. Approving and awarding a Professional\nServices Agreement to Compassion-First Pet Hospitals - AVIM LP d/b/a\nPacific Care Pet Emergency and Specialty (Pacific Care Pet Emergency) to\nprovide emergency animal veterinary services for the City of Seal Beach for a\none-year term in accordance with the fee schedule set forth in the Agreement\nand in a not-to-exceed amount of $40,000 for the Original Term; and, 2.\nAuthorizing the City Manager to approve additional services up to the\ncumulative not-to-exceed amount of $10,000 in connection with the provision\nof emergency animal veterinary services under the Agreement for the Original\nTerm; and, 3. Authorizing and directing the City Manager to execute the\nAgreement.
