In addition to the\nresident appointment, it is recommended by staff that the City Council appoint\nCouncil Member Patty Senecal as a Council representative on the Committee.

Accepting the Heather Park Play Area Improvements Project, CIP\nPR2203/O-PR-1, by KYA Services, LLC in the amount of $786,348.85; and, 2.\nDirecting the City Clerk to file a “Notice of Completion” with the Orange\nCounty Clerk-Recorder within fifteen (15) days from the date of acceptance\nand to release retention thirty-five (35) days after recordation of the Notice of\nCompletion contingent upon no claims being filed on the Project.

Adopting the City of Seal\nBeach Safety Action Plan; and, 2. Authorizing the Interim City Manager, or\ntheir designee, as agent to conduct all negotiations, and to execute and\nsubmit all documents on behalf of the City of Seal Beach, including, but not\nlimited to applications, forms, agreements, and payment requests, which may\nbe necessary to submit and secure future implementation grants, the City’s\nobligations related thereto, and all amendments thereto for the Plan.

Applications for Grant Funds for the Orange County Community\nResources OC Housing and Community Public Facilities and\nImprovements Grant - That the City Council adopt Resolution 7600: 1.\nApproving the application for grant funds related to the OC Housing and\nCommunity Development Public Facilities and Improvements to apply\nupgrades to the Seal Beach Senior Center, and to accept any funds awarded\nthrough the program; and, 2. Directing the Interim City Manager to execute all\nnecessary documents to apply for, accept, receive, and utilize the grant\nfunding to participate in the grant program, including incorporation in the FY\n2025-26 proposed Annual Budget. That the City Council adopt Resolution\n7601: 1. Approving the application for grant funds related to the OC Housing\nand Community Development Public Facilities and Improvements to apply\nupgrades to the Mary Wilson Library, and to accept any funds awarded\nthrough the program; and, 2. Directing the Interim City Manager to execute all\nnecessary documents to apply for, accept, receive, and utilize the grant\nfunding to participate in the grant program, including incorporation in the FY\n2025-26 proposed Annual Budget.

Authorizing the City Manager to take\nany further actions necessary for the purpose of obtaining reimbursement.
