Sierra Madre — 2023-10-10

a) CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION 23-65 APPROVING CERTAIN DEMANDS\nIt is recommended that the City Council approve Resolution 23-65 approving payment\nof City Warrants in the aggregate amount of $187,072.04; Sierra Madre Library\nWarrants in the aggregate amount of $12,500.02; and Payroll Transfer in the aggregate\namount of $521,808.44; for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.

b) CONSIDERATION OF AWARD OF BID TO KING OFFICE SERVICES, FOR THE MOVING\nAND STORAGE SERVICES OF THE EXISTING LIBRARY IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED\n$134,660.00.\nIt is recommended that the City Council award a moving and storage contract to King Office\nServices, in an amount not to exceed $134,660.00 for relocating and providing storage for the\nSierra Madre Public Library for up to two years.

c) CONSIDERATION OF RENEWAL OF THE INTER-CON CONTRACT\nIt is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to approve and sign the\ncontract renewal with Inter-Con Security Systems to continue parking enforcement in the\nbusiness district and additional parking enforcement for overnight parking.

d) CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF AN INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH\nRIO HONDO COMMUNITY COLLEGE\nIt is recommended that the City Council approve the Instructional Services Agreement (ISA) and\nauthorize the City Manager, or their designee, to enter into the agreement with Rio Hondo\nCommunity College, on behalf of the Sierra Madre Fire Department, for instructional training.

e) CONSIDERATION OF AWARD OF BID TO PERFORMANCE PIPELINE TECHNOLOGIES FOR\nA WATER MAIN LINING PROJECT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $107,552.00.\nIt is recommended that the City Council award a construction contract to Performance Pipeline\nTechnologies in an amount not to exceed $107,552.00 for the lining of 326 feet of 16-inch water\nmain and 190 feet of 10-inch main at the City’s Tunnels facility/upper Woodland Dr.

f) CONSIDERATION TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF THE AGREEMENT WITH IB\nCONSULTING LLC. BY $5,000.00 FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE WATER AND\nWASTEWATER RATE STUDY\nIt is recommended that the City Council award the increase to the Professional Service Contract\nto IB Consulting LLC for the Water and Wastewater Rate Study in the amount of $5,000.

g) RECOMMENDATION TO REJECT ALL BIDS FOR SIERRA MADRE CONSTRUCTION\nMANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE LIBRARY’S MEANINGFUL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS\nIt is recommended that the City Council reject all bids received on September 29, 2023, for the\nSierra Madre Library Significant Improvement Construction Management Services.\nPUBLIC HEARING
