UPDATE ON ALL COMMISSIONERS TO PROVIDE PROOF OF\nRESIDENCE AND RETURN SIGNED APPLICATION FOR\nAPPOINTMENT TO COMMISSION\nAt the September 24, 2024, Special City Council Meeting, the Mayor and\nCity Council directed staff to update the Application for Appointment to\nCommission by adding a proof of residence requirement with a driver’s\nlicense and a utility bill, and to include a statement made under penalty of\nperjury to the application. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 24-233\nDESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER AS THE SIGNATURE\nAUTHORITY FOR GRANT-RELATED DOCUMENTS AND FOR\nIMPLEMENTATION AND CLOSE-OUT OF THE GRANT\nOn January 4, 2022, the Department of Resources Recycling and\nRecovery CalRecycle) published a Notice of Funding Availability for the\nSB 1383 Local Assistance\nGrant Program ("Grant Program"). CalRecycle requires the City to\ndesignate and authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute all\ngrant documents, including but not limited to, applications, agreements,\namendments and requests for payment.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council adopt\nResolution No. 24-233, authorizing the City Manager or designee to\nexecute all grant documents, including but not limited to, applications,\nagreements, amendments and requests for payment.
