14. Adoption of the 2023-24 Walnut Housing Authority (WHA) Budget\nRecommendation: That the Authority adopt Walnut Housing Authority\n(WHA) Budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24. The annual budget includes $12,300 in\nresources and $544.660 in total appropriations.

Hear the Staff Report;\n3. Solicit public input on this item;\n4. City Council Discussion;\n5. Close the Public Hearing;\n6. Adopt Resolution No. 23-29, “A Resolution of the City Council of the City of\nWalnut, adopting the Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Year 2023-24 to\nFiscal Year 2027-28.”\nORDINANCE:

3. Ordinance No. 23-03 – Adoption of the 2023 Los Angeles County Fire Code\nand Electric Vehicle Charging Station Permitting\nRecommendation: That the City Council:\n1. Introduce by title only and waive further reading of Ordinance No. 23-03, “An\nOrdinance of the City Council of the City of Walnut, California, To Amend\nthe Walnut Municipal Code by Amending Title 3, Chapter 3.16 (Fire\nPrevention) Adopting by Reference the Los Angeles County Fire Code, 2023\nEdition, and Adding Chapter 2.42 (Expedited Permitting for Electric Vehicle\nCharging Stations) to Title 2;” and.”\n2. Resolution No. 23-31 – To establish the 2023-24 Appropriation Limit\nRecommendation: That the City Council approve and adopt Resolution No.\n23-31, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Walnut, Approving and\nAdopting the Annual Appropriations Limit in the Amount of $35,344,687 for the\nFiscal Year 2023-24.

6. Resolution No. 23-33 – Authorized Positions and Salary Schedule\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt Resolution No. 23-33,\napproving the Executive, Management, Classified and Part-Time Schedule of\nAuthorized Positions and Salary Schedules for Fiscal Year 2023-24.

Resolution No. 23-34 – Prohibiting all parking on Alisu Court for a period of\nninety (90) days.\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt Resolution No. 23-34, A\nResolution of the City Council of the City of Walnut, County of Los Angeles,\nProhibiting Parking, Including Trucks and Trailers, for a Temporary Ninety (90)\nDay Period on Alisu Court.

Ordinance No. 23-02 – Adding Chapter 3.68 and Chapter 3.72 to Title 3 of\nthe WMC. – Second Reading\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt Ordinance No. 23-02 “An\nOrdinance of the City Council of the City of Walnut, California, Adding Chapter\n3.68 (Trespass on Designated Conservation Areas) and Chapter 3.72 (Trespass on\nCity Property) to Title 3 (Public Health, Safety and Welfare) of the Walnut\nMunicipal Code.”
