Resolution No. 25-06 – Appointing Retiree as Interim Finance Director / City\nTreasurer per the Public Employees’ Retirement Law\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt Resolution No. 25-06\nappointing Mariesixta Santos (Retiree) as the Interim Finance Director / City\nTreasurer per the Public Employees’ Retirement Law.

4. 2024-25 Mid-Year Request for Additional Appropriation\nRecommendation: That the City Council:\n1. Appropriate a total of $222,800 from General Fund (01) Reserves to: City\nCouncil Conference & Meetings $12,500 (01-4000-6104, 6105, 6106, 6107,\n6108), Financial Professional Services $10,000 (01-4500-5616), Code\nEnforcement PPT Employees $55,300 (01-5002-51020, Animal Control\nContractual Services $15,000 (01-8500-6227), Sports League Contractual\nServices $50,000 (01-9693-6227), Parks Maintenance Contractual Services\n$50,000 (01-9100-6243), Parks Maintenance Tree Maintenance $10,000 (01-\n9100-6243), Parks Maintenance Grounds Maintenance $20,000 (01-9100-\n6248);\n2. Appropriate $70,000 from Gas Tax (02) Reserves to Street Right-of-Way Tree\nMaintenance (02-6206-6243); and\n3. Appropriate $20,000 from Measure “M” (21) Reserves to Storm Drain\nMaintenance Contractual Services (21-6102-6227)

5. Walnut Business Watch & Business Security Improvement Grant Program\nRecommendation: That the City Council:\n1. Receive and file the Walnut Business Watch Program.\n2. Appropriate $150,000 from the Miscellaneous Development Agreement\naccount 01-0000-3818 to the Business Security Improvement Grants account\n01-5911-6354.
