Resolution No. 26-22 – Requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of\nLos Angeles to Consolidate a General Municipal Election to be held on\nTuesday, November 3, 2026\nRecommendation:\nThat the City Council adopt Resolution No. 26-22, “A\nResolution of the City Council of the City of Walnut, California, Requesting the\nBoard of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles to Consolidate a General\nMunicipal Election to be Held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, with the Statewide\nGeneral Election to be Held on the Date Pursuant to Section 10403 of the Elections\nCode.”

Resolution No. 26-23 – Adopting Regulations for Candidates for Elective\nOffice Pertaining to Candidate Statements for the General Municipal Election\non November 3, 2026\nRecommendation:\nThat the City Council adopt Resolution No. 26-23, “A\nResolution of the City Council of the City of Walnut, California, Adopting\nRegulations for Candidates for Elective Office Pertaining to Candidate Statements\nSubmitted to the Voters at an Election to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.”

Resolution No. 26-24 - Adoption of the 2026 City of Walnut Multi-\nJurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan - Base Plan\nRecommendation:\nThat the City Council:\n1.\nAdopt Resolution No. 26-24, adopting the 2026 Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard\nMitigation Plan – Base Plan, in substantial form as reviewed and submitted to\nCal OES and FEMA.

Resolution No. 26-25 – Establishing Fines for Electrical Bicycles, Motorized\nBicycles, and Motorized Scooter Violations\nRecommendation: That the City Council adopt Resolution No. 26-25,\nestablishing fines for violations related to electrical bicycles, motorized bicycles,\nand motorized scooters.

Award of Emergency Construction Contract for Flood Plain Trail Erosion\nRepair and Adoption of Resolution No. 26-26 Amending the FY 2025-2026\nCapital Improvement Program Budget\nRecommendation: That the City Council:\n1.\nAdopt Resolution No. 26-26 amending the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Capital\nImprovement Program Budget to appropriate funds for the Flood Plain Trail\nErosion Repair Project;\n2.\nAuthorize emergency repair work;\n3.\nAward a construction contract to Hardy and Harper Inc. for the Flood Plain\nTrail Erosion Repair Project in the amount of $93,095.00;\n4.\nAuthorize staff to approve change orders not to exceed 10% of the contract\nprice ($9,309.50);\n5.\nAuthorize staff to approve and process payments to Hardy and Harper Inc. for\nconstruction services; and\n6.\nAuthorize staff to approve and process payments to RKA Consulting Group\nfor engineering, environmental coordination, and construction support services\nin accordance with the City’s existing Professional Services Agreement.
