1. PUBLIC COMMENT: The City Council values your comments;\nhowever, pursuant to the Brown Act, Council cannot take action on\nitems not listed on the posted agenda. The public comment period\nis limited to 20 minutes, with 2 minutes allotted for each speaker.\nThis public comment period is to address the City Council on\nConsent Calendar items, other agenda items (if the member of the\npublic cannot be present at the time the item is considered) or items\nof general interest within the jurisdiction of the City Council.\nAnother period is also reserved for general comment later in the\nmeeting for those that could not be heard at this time. Public\nHearing testimony will only be taken at the time of the hearing.

2.D. AB 361 -ALLOW FOR THE CONTINUED USE OF VIRTUAL\nTELECONFERENCE MEETINGS CITY BROWN ACT MEETINGS\n[J. JIMENEZ, M. CROWDER, L. MORALES, L. LANGER]:\nThe City Council will authorize the continued use of virtual\nteleconference meetings for the City’s Brown Act meetings as\nrequired under AB 361.\nAllow for the continued use of virtual teleconference meetings for\nthe City's Brown Act meetings under AB 361 by finding that a\nstatewide state of emergency continues to exist, and local and state\nhealth officials continue to recommend measures to prevent the\nspread of COVID-19, including distancing, ventilation, and others\ndepending on the space and activity.\nSTAFF REPORT\nPUBLIC COMMENT: This time is set aside for the public to address the\nCouncil on any item of interest within the subject matter jurisdiction of the\nCouncil that could not be heard under Item 1 at the beginning of the\nmeeting.\nCOUNCILMEMBER COMMENTS: Additional general comments,\nannouncements, requests of staff and/or other issues of concern to\nCouncilmembers are briefly presented at this time.
