2.M. LESBIAN SPEAKERS SERIES EVENTS [C. SCHROEDER, D.\nMURRAY, D. SAUNDERS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving the Human Services\nDivision to host and create up to six Lesbian Speakers Series events\nduring fiscal year 2025.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the use of the City facilities and waive\nevent permits and associated fees; 2) Waive parking fees at City parking\ngarages for event attendees; 3) Authorize the use of the City name and\nlogo on invitations and other collateral materials for the event; and 4)\nDirect the Communications Department to utilize all appropriate\ncommunication tools to promote the event, including, but not limited to, the\nCity’s website and social media tools.

2.N. NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME IN WEST HOLLYWOOD [D.\nRIVAS, A. SHANDI]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider designating Tuesday, August 6,\n2024, as National Night Out Against Crime in West Hollywood and\napprove various administrative requests to assist in the success of\nNational Night Out events.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Proclaim August 6, 2024 as “National Night\nOut” in West Hollywood; 2) Approve all street closures for National Night\nOut block parties and allow the City Manager to approve additional street\nclosures for National Night Out 2024 as deemed appropriate; 3) Approve\nthe City’s official sponsorship of all West Hollywood National Night Out\nevents and waive all City fees associated with this event; and 4) Approve\nlifting parking restrictions within neighborhood watch/resident association\nNational Night Out activation vicinities between 4:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.

ABRAMSON]:\nSUBJECT: This proposal is for construction of a new two-sided full-\nmotion digital billboard, replacing an existing one-sided billboard, on the\nrooftop of 8501 Sunset (The Sterling Building) and for the improvement of\nboth the interior and exterior of the building to accommodate West\nHollywood small businesses with free workspace, mentorship, and\neducational programs for approximately three to five local businesses for\nthe term of the development agreement. Site improvements will also be\nmade to accommodate this new use. The City Council will hold a public\nhearing and make a decision regarding the approval of Master Project\n(MP21-0021) including Sign Permit (BB21-0003), Administrative Permit\n(AP21-0021), Zoning Map Amendment (ZMA21-0003) and Development\nAgreement (DA21-0004) for the construction and installation of the new\nbillboard and site and building improvements.
