8.L.\nMetro Hot Spots - Memorandum of Understanding Extension\nRecommendation: Approve a term extension to an existing Memorandum of\nUnderstanding (MOU) with Metro to July 31, 2027, for the intersection\nimprovements of Hot Spots Whittier Boulevard at Santa Fe Springs Road and\nWhittier Boulevard at Painter Avenue.
