Public Safety - HOPE Team Update\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council receive an update regarding the San Bernardino\nCounty Sheriff's Department Homeless Outreach and Proactive\nEnforcement (HOPE) team and the Department's related activities\nwithin the Town of Yucca Valley.\nFUTURE AGENDA ITEMS:

Authorization to Purchase EXMARK Lazer Z Diesel 96” cut mower for the Public\nWorks, Parks Maintenance Division\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council authorizes the Town Manager or designee to\nexecute a purchase agreement with Stotz Equipment for a new EXMARK\nLazer Z Diesel 96” cut mower for the Public Works, Parks Maintenance\nDivision, in an amount not to exceed $45,968.00.

6. Town-Wide Slurry /Cape Seal Project – Town Project No.7037; Award of\nConstruction Contract\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council:\n· Approves and awards a construction contract to Copp\nContracting, Inc., in the amount of $1,069,649.00 to construct\nTown-Wide Slurry/Cape Project; and\n· Authorizes construction, construction contingencies and\ninspection costs in the total amount of $1,196,000; and\n· Authorizes the Mayor, Town Manager, and Town Attorney to\nexecute the agreement, and authorizes the Town Manager or\ndesignee to expend contingency funds, if necessary, for project\ncompletion.

7. Onaga Trail Pedestrian Improvements; Town Project No. 7005; Acceptance of\nProject as Substantially Complete\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council accepts the project as substantially complete,\nauthorizes staff to file the Notice of Completion, authorizes the\nreduction of the Faithful Performance Bond to 10%, and directs staff to\nretain the Labor and Material Bond for six (6) months for Project\nNo.7005.

8. Approval of Agreement with County of San Bernardino Regarding Opioid\nSettlement Funds\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the Town Council approve an Agreement for\nthe Use of the Local Allocation of California Opioid Settlement Funds\nbetween the Town and San Bernardino County and authorize the\nTown Manager to execute the Agreement and any future County\nAllocation Agreements related to California Opioid Litigation\nsettlements
