17. Essig Park Improvements Project, Town Project No. 8519 - Notice of Completion\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council accepts the project as substantially complete,\nauthorizes staff to file the Notice of Completion, authorizes the\nreduction of the Faithful Performance Bond to 10%, directs staff to\nretain the Labor and Material Bond for six (6) months for Project No.\n8519-2023.

18. 2024-26 Final Draft Strategic Plan\nRecommendation:\nReview and approve the final draft FY 2024-26 Strategic Plan and direct\nstaff to incorporate the plan priorities into the FY 2024-26 budget\nprocess and policy planning activities.\nFUTURE AGENDA ITEMS:

Town Project No. 7037; Town-Wide Slurry Seal Project Notice of Completion,\nFinal Project Report\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council accepts the project as substantially complete,\nauthorizes staff to file the Notice of Completion, authorizes the\nreduction of the Faithful Performance Bond to 10%, directs staff to\nretain the Labor and Material Bond for six (6) months for Project No.\n7037-2023.

7. Town Project No. 9101 – Old Town Beautification and Sustainability Project,\nPhase 1, Approval of Plans and Specifications; Authorization to Advertise for\nConstruction.\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council adopts the Resolution approving the plans and\nspecifications for Project No. 9101 Old Town Beautification and\nSustainability Project and authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise and\nreceive bids.\nA RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YUCCA\nVALLEY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR\nTHE OLD TOWN BEAUTIFICATION AND SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT -\nPHASE 1 IN SAID TOWN AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE TOWN\nCLERK TO ADVERTISE AND RECEIVE BIDS.

8. First Contract Amendment for Landscape Maintenance Services Agreement with\nMariposa Landscapes, Inc.\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council:\n· Authorizes and approves the first amendment to the Contract\nwith Mariposa Landscapes, Inc., increasing total compensation\nfrom $94,728.00 to $109,593.60 annually and extending the\ncontract period for three (3) years ending January 30, 2027.\n· Authorizes an annual CPI Increase not to exceed 5% annually on\nthe contract.\n· Authorizes the Mayor, Town Manager, and Town Attorney to\nsign all necessary documents for the contract amendment.

9. Town-Wide Slurry / Cape Seal Project – Town Project Nos.7037/8340 Approval of\nPlans and Specifications Authorization to Advertise for Construction\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council adopt Resolution No. 24-XX, approves the\nspecifications for Project Nos. 7037/8340, and authorizes the Town\nClerk to advertise and receive bids.\nA RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YUCCA\nVALLEY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE\nTOWNWIDE SLURRY/CAPE SEAL PROJECT IN SAID TOWN AND\nAUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE TOWN CLERK TO ADVERTISE AND\nRECEIVE BIDS.
